1998 Jeep Cherokee Limited
Up for auction is my 1998 Jeep Cherokee Limited that is in excellent condition. The Jeep Cherokee XJ's are becoming harder and harder to find and only increasing in value for nice examples. This Cherokee turns heads everywhere it goes among Jeep fans, because it's rare to find one in Limited trim and in as good of shape as this one is. The Limited package included: leather interior with wood grain trim, (this one has an optional power driver seat), body color bumpers and side trim, privacy tint, cruise control, keyless entry, alloy wheels, overhead console with compass, temp, and trip computer. This Cherokee has a strong running (many say indestructable) 4.0 inline 6 cylinder engine, along with the tough 4 speed trans. As an added bonus this cherokee came from the factory with the upgrade NP242 transfer case. It allows the drive to select from; 2wd, part-time 4wd, full-time 4wd, and low 4wd. The drivetrain is backed by the chrysler 8.25 rear differential. The Cherokee also has the desireable snowflake/ teardrop wheels and they are in great shape.
The red exterior paint is in excellent condition. There is a small amount of pitting in the middle of the front bumper. Jeep Cherokees from this era are known for having major rust issues with their floor pans, however, this Cherokee is rock solid! (see photos). The interior is also in excellent condition. There is a minor tear in the driver's seat and the headliner is starting to droop in spots. This Cherokee runs and drives great, and has always been garaged kept since I've owned it. I recently installed a trailer hitch to the Jeep to make it even more versitle, and also have the wiring harness to match. Additional items included with the sale are: exact fit WeatherTech front floor mats, new and never installed headlights and windshield wiper, both full size and mini spare tires, exact match touch up paint, also included, is a cargo bag (never used) that...
