WATERTOWN — A city man was sentenced Wednesday in Jefferson County Court to six years in state prison for having sexual contact with a minor child. Gonser, 47, was also ordered to undergo 15 additional years of supervision upon his release from prison after pleading guilty May 29 to first-degree sexual abuse. He was also ordered to register with the state as a sex offender upon his release from prison and a 24-year order of protection was issued for his victim.
