Pennsylvania State Police were looking for a vehicle that failed to slow for traffic and caused a three-vehicle crash Friday night on Interstate 78 in Northampton County. It occurred at 5:46 p. m. in the left lane of I-78 East near mile-marker 69 in Lower Saucon Township, state police at Belfast said. An unknown vehicle came upon slowing traffic and struck the rear of a 2005 Audi A6 that was then pushed into the rear of a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, police said. One occupant in the Audi, from Long Island City, New York, and two occupants in the Grand Cherokee, from Ohio and Michigan, were uninjured, police said. The crash followed another rear-end collision caused by traffic congestion at 3:49 p. m. Friday on Interstate 78... In that incident, Lucinda Lysek, 43, of Bethlehem, slowed her 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek for traffic in the left lane and was struck from behind by a 2001 Lexus LS 430 driven by Daniel Quinones, 45, of Allentown, police said.
