"It's a fun car for me," said driver Victoria Loeb. Her Lexus IS 250 is small but quick. "It was my dream car," Loeb explained. "I think Lexus makes a beautiful-looking product. Lexus is not standing behind Loeb's $35,000 investment even though her dash is sticky and gooey. It's just like other dashboards we've shown you in South Florida that Lexus said it would fix. Loeb said she was thrilled when we exposed the problem and Toyota later agreed to fix the cars. "Really you are my hero," Loeb said to NewsChannel 5 Consumer Watchdog Jenn Strathman. "Then I'm not on the list," Loeb said. Her Lexus is not on the list Toyota / Lexus released with the cars it'll fix for free. "To cut it off at 2006 doesn't seem like a very nice thing to do to the consumer," Loeb said. Loeb's car is a 2005. "How do you judge a cutoff at 2006 for an inferior product. The dashboard in Loeb's car looks like all the others we've seen. "I'm rooting for you Jenn," Loeb said.
