Kamisha Cook, 24, of Richmond has also been charged with having a suspended operator’s license, not wearing a seat belt and transporting three unrestrained children, according to a police news release. Investigators have determined the Expedition was going north on Cypress Avenue, ran a red light at Virginia Beach Boulevard and struck a 1999 Mazda Millenia that was traveling west on Virginia Beach Boulevard with a green light. The Millenia then spun and came to rest against a pole. The SUV also spun and hit a 2004 Mazda MPV, which was stopped at the red light on Cypress Avenue, facing south. The SUV rolled, but the MPV stopped the SUV from rolling completely, according to the release. Source: hamptonroads.com
