Woman slapped with several charges after 3-vehicle pile-up in Virginia Beach - wtkr.com

Virginia Beach, Va. - A 24-year-old woman, Kamisha Cook, has been charged after officials say she ran a red light and caused a 3-car wreck in Virginia Beach on Tuesday afternoon. This happened at Cypress Avenue and Virginia Beach Blvd. Calls came in at around 4:38 p. m. Police say the driver of a 1999 Ford Expedition was traveling north on Cypress Avenue and ran a red light. A 1999 Mazda Millenia was going west an was crossing Cypress when their light was green. The Ford hit the Mazda and it spun into a pole. The Expedition also started spinning and hit a 2004 Mazda MPV which was at a red light at the time. This caused the truck to roll but the other vehicle stopped it from rolling over completely.
