Interestingly the windscreen appears to be more upright than the X1's and according to the Automedia spy photographers the cabin looks nothing like the BMW X1 small SUV either. au that a new coupe-like SUV would join its ranks by 2018, although based on the images snapped here it could that the vehicle has been fast-tracked. BMW has obviously learnt its lesson from the slow-selling MINI Paceman – and seen the writing on the wall via Range Rover's unloved three-door Evoque – and decided to include a modicum of practicality, hence a five-door layout for the vehicle. Rivals for the new model will include the hot-selling Mercedes-Benz GLA and like that model this new BMW X2 will be offered in front- and all-wheel drive.
