$18000 worth of methamphetamine seized near Auburn, police say - AL.com
Lee County Sheriff's deputies seized more than 180 grams of methamphetamine with a street value of $18,000 during an early Thursday morning traffic stop in Auburn. Thomas Jeffery Meeks, 49, of Andalusia was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and possession of marijuana in the first degree, according to the Lee County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff's deputies stopped the 1993 Mitsubishi Eclipse the suspects were riding in for improper lane usage at around 4:18 a. m.
