This bad boy has a maximum output of 100 Amps and will kick its full power at only 1200 RPMS. On idle; about 600 engine rpms, it will provide you with reliable and steady 55amps. Keep in mind that the alternator’s amperage output is controlled by the internal voltage regulator and will vary depending on battery state of charge and electrical load conditions. It acts as a smart alternator, once your battery is fully charged; it will supply only the necessary amperage to keep the battery charged back at full capacity.
