2016 Nissan Maxima Serves as Safety Car at VIR, COTA - Automobile
A specially outfitted 2016 Nissan Maxima served as the Safety Car at this past weekend’s Oak Tree Grand Prix at Virginia International Raceway (VIR), and will do the same duties at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) next month. Other than the silver, red, and black Safety Car livery, this specific 2016 Maxima is also outfitted with a performance exhaust, upgraded wheels and tires, emergency lighting, and the brakes from a Nissan 370Z.
