Sheriff's deputy charged with DWI, had child passenger - KGBT-TV
Police arrested a Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office deputy Sunday night on suspicion of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger. At about 10:46 p. m. Sunday, police stopped Deputy Mariana Yvonne Navarette after her silver 2012 Nissan Sentra ran a red light, according to a news release from the Pharr Police Department. Police arrested Navarette on suspicion of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger, a state jail felony. The Pharr Police Department transferred Navarette to the Hidalgo County jail for booking Monday morning. Navarette wasn’t on duty when police arrested her. Source: www.valleycentral.com
