(Inwood, NY) The Nassau County Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred in Inwood on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 4:45 A. M. According to Fourth Squad detectives, a male victim, 42, while standing at a bus stop on Wanser Avenue and... Several minutes later, a late 1990’s black Nissan Maxima with black rims, pulled up near the bus stop and dropped off three male subjects and then drove off. All four subjects demanded money from the victim and began punching him in the face. As the victim put his arms up to defend himself, one of subjects pulled out a black hand gun and hit him in the face several times. The subjects fled the scene on foot westbound on Wanser Avenue and then northbound on Clinton Avenue. Nassau County Police Ambulance transported the victim, who suffered lacerations to the face, to a local hospital for treatment. All four subjects are described as male blacks. Source: www.newsli.com
