Police search for suspect in fatal LaSalle Street shooting - Charlotte Observer

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of fatally shooting 24-year-old Malik Aquiyl Teasdell in the 1300 block of LaSalle Street early Monday. A male passenger in the car as wearing a red shirt with what appears to be either a logo or writing on it. Both the driver and passenger are considered armed and dangerous, police said. The car is a dark, possibly blue, 2013-2015 Nissan Sentra or Altima that has damage to the right side passenger door. Police ask that anyone who sees or has information about the suspect, passenger or the car call 911. Teasdell was given probation in 2011 after being found guilty of robbery with a dangerous weapon, court records show. He was awaiting trial on charges of hit/run causing property damage, breaking and entering, possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia, records show.
