• Thieves stole a silver halogen spotlight from a Wildside racing trailer and damaged two tires and a side of the trailer between 2 p. m. Aug. Loss was estimated at $5,200. Bartlett • Thieves stole two Mack tractor trucks and trailers between 9:30 p. m. Aug. 25 out of a truck lot at Bluff City Materials on the 9N500 block of Route 25. One of the tractor trucks was found at Vulcan Boulevard and Miles Parkway with windows and mirrors smashed, fire extinguisher discharged inside the truck, radio and CDs... Loss was estimated at $128,150. • Vandals slashed all tires, smashed all the glass and keyed two vehicles Aug. • A witness saw a man take money out of a purse around 8:19 a. m. Aug. Buffalo Grove • Vandals removed the valve stem from a passenger's-side tire between 4:30 p. m. Aug. 18 from a 2010 Mazda 3 in an apartment lot on the 0-100 block of Villa Verde Drive. Damage was estimated at $20. • A white male teenager was seen kicking and damaging three wooden mailboxes around 2 a. m. Aug. Damage was estimated at $50. Konrad Bochenko, 36, of the 0-100 block of Villa Verde Drive, Buffalo Grove, was arrested around 6:20 p. m.
