Top Gear – in the form we know and love – has been on the BBC Two since 2002. And over the last 13 years, I’ve managed to watch every single of the 167 (including 10 specials) episodes of the current iteration of the show – and a few from the... So now that the BBC has fired Jeremy Clarkson and put the 22nd Series on hold, I decided it would be appropriate to put together a list of the 10 best Top Gear episodes to-date. Although I had been watching Top Gear for a while before I saw the wanton destruction of the Toyota Hilux, I wasn’t yet sold on the show. On a larger scale, though, I consider this episode the beginning of the current Top Gear. Putting a pickup on the roof of a building during a controlled implosion effectively separated modern Top Gear from the previous iteration.
