HIT-AND-RUN: Caller in the 400 block of West Mill Street reported at 2:30 p. m. Tuesday that a hit-and-run had occurred 10 minutes prior, and the suspect vehicle was a Ford Explorer that hit... DISTURBANCE, MARIJUANA GROW: Caller in the 300 block of Clara Avenue reported at 7:18 p. m. Tuesday that a man was causing a disturbance. , a caller at the railroad tracks near Clara Avenue first said he wanted to report a marijuana grow, then said his girlfriend’s family had called the police on him for no reason. FIGHT OVER MOTEL ROOM: Caller at motel in the 600 block of South State Street reported at 8:32 p. m. Tuesday that his girlfriend was fighting with the front desk clerk and requesting a refund because nothing in their room was working. BOMB IN BACKPACK: Caller in the 500 block of South State Street reported at 11:01 p. m. Tuesday that a man was talking about having a bomb in his backpack and possibly throwing it. An officer responded and determined the incident was not as reported. STOLEN TRUCK: Caller in the 200 block of Scott Street reported at 7:50 a. m. Wednesday that a silver, 2015 Toyota Tundra pickup truck with a black Tuff box and two dog carriers in the back had been stolen.
