Tow truck driver robbed at Sunset Point - AZFamily

A tow truck driver who stopped at Sunset Point rest stop early Thursday morning was robbed at gunpoint, Yavapai County sheriff’s deputies said. One of the suspects pointed a gun at him and demanded his wallet, according to YCSO spokesman Dwight D’Evelyn. After the victim handed it over, the suspects fled and drove south on Interstate 17. . The vehicle is described as a blue, 1980’s Toyota extended cab truck. One of the suspects is described as a black and Hispanic mix, about 5’9” tall. The other suspect is Hispanic, about 5’5” tall.
