New Paris woman killed in wreck - Goshen News

A 78-year-old New Paris woman was killed in a two-vehicle collision at C. R. 21 and C. R. 40 in Goshen Tuesday. The crash occurred at 12:59 p. m. , according to Elkhart County police. A 2010 Mercury Marquis driven by Mary A. Stump, 78, New Paris, failed to stop at the stop sign and entered the intersection, colliding with a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado with a trailer driven by Timothy Martin, 45, Osceola, who was not injured. • A passenger was transported to Memorial Hospital of South Bend with injuries after a two-vehicle collision Tuesday. According to Elkhart County police, a 2011 Toyota Sienna driven by Joyce Palmateer, 39, Walkerton, entered the intersection and struck a 2011 Toyota Corolla driven by David Colt, 41, Rochester. • Five people were injured and transported to IU Health Goshen Hospital in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday. The crash occurred at 4:18 a. m. near the intersection of Sourwood Drive and Kercher Road in Goshen. According to Goshen police, a 2004 Pontiac Bonneville driven by Joann K. Miller of Shipshewana rear ended a 2005 Pontiac Montana driven by Natasha Streikus of Goshen. Three passengers in her vehicle were treated for their injuries, Eva Stutzman of Shipshewana had lacerations to her face. • A passenger was injured in a two-vehicle crash at C. R. 33 and C.
