This listing is for one brand new 2" raise Steel Cowl Induction Hood, part# 4947-200-991, made by Goodmark. This hood is designed to fit the 99-06 GMC Sierra 1500, 01-06 GMC Sierra 1500HD, 99-06 GMC Sierra 2500, 01-06 GMC Sierra 2500HD, 01-06 GMC Sierra 3500, 00-06 GMC Yukon, 00-06 GMC Yukon XL, 01-06 GMC Yukon Denali & 01-06 GMC Yukon Denali XL. This hood is brand new from the factory. It has never been used or installed.
Goodmark steel hoods are made from high quality galvanized steel which is electro e-coated for maximum rust protection. Designed for fast, easy installation, Goodmark steel hoods utilize for vehicles existing hinges and latch assembly. All hoods feature fully finished factory style underside. Insulation pad, light, and other under hood accessories can be attached like normal.
Goodmark steel hoods arrive in a black electro e-coat finish. This is NOT a primer. This is a sealer put on the steel to protect against rush. All hoods will require normal prep work (test fit, sand, prime) before paint can be applied. We strongly recommend having the hood painted and installed by a qualified auto body shop.
