Report: GM increases production of GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado - eGMCarTech

AutomotiveNews reports that General Motors is ramping up production of the GMC Canyon and Chevrolet Colorado due to high-demand, which speaks for the resurgence of the midsize pickup segment–it’s stronger than anticipated. Not too long ago, it was only the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier perpetuating the midsize pickup market with major staples like the Ford Ranger and previous Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon nowhere to be seen. They’ve also added more shifts while hiring more workers for weekend production shifts as well, in hopes to boost production by 2,000 per month. Source: www.egmcartech.com
