Designed to install the Small Block Chevy engine in 1937, 1938 Chevy 1/2 Ton Pickup Frames. These will fit other makes and models as well. To verify other make and model fitment... The dimension between the frame rails (inside measurement) at the location of installation must be between 23 and 24 inches. The top plate for each side is built 3/16 longer to allow you to trim for a perfect fit. Look at the pictures, you will see a line drawn on the top plate, this identifies the approximate amount that will need to be trimmed to install in your 37 or 38 model truck frame. This was added for several reasons such as; what thickness material was used to "box" the frame, was that material installed inset / flush / outset. You will also see I notched the front edge for the cross-member. Your frame must be boxed to use this set. I have boxing plates in another auction. You will need to use your engine or a "dummy" engine to install these mounts. This will assure you get the height and angle correct. Not all will be installed the same depending on the "rake" of the frame.
These are built from 3/16 steel. The tube portion of the mount is heavy wall DOM tube. Everything in the first two pics is include in the purchase.
