3 injured in crash on Benton Rd. in McCracken Co. - WAVE 3
McCracken County deputies responded to the area of Benton Road and Meacham Lane at around 8:24 p. m. on Tuesday. They say James S. Keiler, 59, of Paducah, was driving a 2011 Ford F-350 and hauling an approximate 30-foot gooseneck flatbed trailer with a tractor on it. According to deputies, Keiler was trying to back the trailer into a driveway on Benton Road. He was westbound, but backing up. They say his truck was over the center line and partially in the eastbound lane. Deputies say Andrew Turner, 21, of Paducah, was driving a 1998 Mazda pickup eastbound. Turner told deputies he didn't notice that Keiler's truck was in his lane before hitting him. Deputies say Turner hit the truck in the driver side, causing severe damage. Deputies say witnesses stated that Keiler had flashing hazard lights on, along with his headlights. Source: www.wave3.com
