Two people killed Saturday in Horseheads crash - Elmira Star-Gazette
A tractor-trailer collided with a pickup truck around 6:46 a. m. at the intersection of Watkins and Westinghouse roads, according to Horseheads village police. A tractor-trailer traveling north, operated by Glennthomas Guarino, overturned, striking a Ford Ranger pickup truck driven by Louis Fossaceca, 76, of Elmira, police said. Horseheads police are being assisted in the investigation by the New York State Police Accident Reconstruction Unit. Horseheads police also were assisted at the scene by Elmira Heights police, the Chemung County Sheriff’s Office, state Department of Transportation and the Chemung County Medical Examiner’s Office.
