The victim is a 58-year-old Pontiac man who was walking home the night of Aug. He was several blocks away from the restaurant when a surveillance camera captures him walking through a parking lot in the 700 block of Industrial Court. Suddenly, the Ford Ranger can be seen turning down into the lot and accelerating right into the man. Township Police Lt. Dan Edwards said the victim - who is legally deaf - managed to get up and eventually run toward a corner of the lot where some utility boxes are located. 10 when a 1995 black Ford Ranger was stolen from the 1500 block of Franklin Road. Shortly after, a number of unlocked vehicles were broken into along the 2000 block of Franklin Road.
