The Town of Greeneville has made $15,000 in grant funds available for the improvement of downtown commercial properties. The funds have been budgeted for the second year of the town's Downtown Facade Grant Program, which aims to increase commercial property values and job opportunities downtown, a town news release states. According to the news release, there is a limit of $2,500 in grant funds available per side of the building facing a public street, up to a total maximum amount of $5,000 per project.
