5 : At 11:11 a. m. , police took a report of criminal mischief in the 300 block of 15th Street Northwest. 6 : At 11:38 a. m. , police took a report of a burglary at the Rolling Meadows Apartment Complex. 7 : At 6:13 a. m. , police responded to a car-deer accident in the 1800 block of Horton Road. Joshua Joseph Heidemann, 41, of Waverly, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Horton Road when a deer crossed into its path, causing a collision and approximately $1,000 in damage. At 12:07 p. m. , police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Fourth Street and Eighth Avenue Southwest. Amber Marie Tiedt, 31, of Readlyn, was driving a 2012 Chrysler 200 LX eastbound on Eighth Avenue when Dean Richard Olson, 66, of Rudd, was exiting the Burger King parking lot in a 1998 Buick Regal. Olson thought the way was clear for him to turn left out of the lot onto Eighth Avenue, but Tiedt appeared, and he struck the 200’s driver’s side door, causing minor damage to both vehicles. , police responded to a two-vehicle accident in the 300 block of Third Street Southwest. Both Morgan Judith Beitz, 22, of Bondurant, driving a 2014 Toyota Corolla, and Gabriella Grace Garbes, 16, of Shell Rock, driving a 1997 Volkswagen Cabriolet, were backing out of their respective alleys to go onto Third Street.
