Multi-vehicle crash claims life of Arkansas man - Monroe News Star
The preliminary investigation revealed that a 2014 Chevrolet Captiva driven by 49-year-old Sandra Edington of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was stopped on the south bound shoulder of U. S. 65 due to engine trouble. A 1985 BMW Motorcycle driven by 54-year-old King Trieschmann of Lake Providence had stopped in front of the Chevrolet Captiva to assist with the engine trouble. Both Trieschmann and Edington were standing in front of the Chevrolet Captiva, when a south bound 2003 Ford F-150 ran off the right side of the roadway and struck both parked vehicles. Trieschmann and Edington sustained moderate injuries during the crash. The passenger of the Chevrolet Captiva 64-year-old Charles LeCompt also of Hot Springs, Arkansas was sitting in the passenger seat at the time of the crash and sustained life threatening injuries.
