Hennessey Offers More Upgrades For Ford's F-150 Raptor: Video - Motor Authority
Ford’s F-150 SVT Raptor isn’t only one of the best selling pickup trucks around . it’s also one of the most popular in the tuning scene. The Texan tuner is now offering three power levels for its tuned Raptor: 475, 600 and 800 horsepower. They all fall under Hennessey's VelociRaptor branding and are designed for Raptors equipped with the 6. 2-liter V-8 engine and not the older 5. 4-liter unit. The 475-horsepower upgrade relies on your usual breathing mods and an ECU retune. However, the 600- and 800-horsepower upgrades sees forced induction added. In the video above, Hennessey pits its 600-horsepower Raptor against a stock model in a good ol’ drag race. Note, if an SUV is more your thing, Hennessey can convert the Ford Raptor into one by adding rear housing, more seats and a split tailgate.
