This week, however, the vehicle Rut and George will be fixing isn’t an oddity, like the DeLorean or the VW Thing. Tonight, the guys will be checking in with the owner of a 1964 Ford F100. The Ford F100 has many fans in the classic car world. Some consider the older Fords to be glory days gone by for the car industry. Of course, George’s biggest task is (attempting) to help Rut keep the budget under control. But, as fans have seen thus far–and as Rut as much as admitted himself during the Thing build last week–Rut sometimes promises things, including estimates for repairs, that aren’t necessarily based on, well, anything. Well, George or Rut’s wife. Maybe George should put her on the team as back-up … kinda like bringing in the hammer when the situation calls for it.
