This is a high performance 429 - 460 air cleaner offered by FORD with the Ram-Air trap door that opens under acceleration by vacuum. A couple of the pictures show the trap door wide open and partially closed under partial vacuum when I drew air trough a vacuum hose. The door actually remains closed under normal driving conditions and only opens up under full acceleration. Black external scoop aids air delivery.
Complete with Cold Air snorkel accordion hose and hard plastic fender plenum.
