Consolidated Fire board OKs purchase of new vehicles - The Union of Grass Valley
The Nevada County Consolidated Fire District Board of Directors on Thursday unanimously approved the purchase of additional utility vehicles totaling around $73,000. The vehicles will include new all terrain tires, reverse cameras, tow command brake controllers, and vehicle alarms with glass breakage. In other business, the board unanimously approved fire staff to enter into an agreement with Sacramento Valley Limited Partnership, Verizon Wireless to lease a portion of property at 14400 Golden Star Road in Grass Valley. The board also authorized to invite a bid for asphalt repair projects for fire stations 84 and 88. Board members also reviewed the district’s 2015-16 fiscal year budget and five-year projection Thursday, with Finance Manager Jeff Van Groningen...
