Girl taken to Seattle hospital following crash near Mabton that injured six - Yakima Herald-Republic

— A 13-year-old Mabton girl who was airlifted to Seattle was among six people injured Monday in a three-vehicle collision on State Route 241. The injured were taken to three separate hospitals following the crash, which happened about 11:20 a. m.... Troopers said the driver of an Infiniti G25, 26-year-old Bertha Farias, caused the crash by not yielding on a left turn. The car hit a Honda CRV and a Dodge Ram pickup. Farias and her three passengers, all Mabton residents, were injured, as were the occupants of the Honda. The 13-year-old girl riding in Farias’ car was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, but the hospital said she was not listed as a patient. Farias and a 7-year-old girl passenger, Jocelin Farias, were taken to Sunnyside Community Hospital. Bickleton resident Mary Webb-Mion, 68, was driving the Honda and was taken to PMH Medical Center in Prosser along with her passenger, 57-year-old Angela Rambow of Roosevelt.
