WASHINGTON — Chrysler is recalling 1,253 2013 Ram 2500 and Ram 3500 pickup trucks equipped with optional premium headlights to fix a problem with the high-beam mode, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Just yesterday, Chrysler issued a 2012-'13 Ram pickup recall for two problems unassociated with today's recall announcement. "The headlamp shutters may function improperly when in high-beam mode," said NHTSA in its summary of the problem. "Improper headlight shutter function during high-beam use may reduce the driver's visibility and possibly blind oncoming traffic.
