Unique Aston Martin DB AR1 Roadster Up for Auction - Photo Gallery - autoevolution
The link between Aston Martin and Italian coachbuilder Zagato has a long history behind it, and it has produced some truly unique Astons over the years. One of these cars is the DB AR1, short for American Roadster, 100 of which were made for the American market. Of the 100 cars, one was kept by Aston, while the other 99 were sold off. Power comes from the familiar six-liter V12, which Aston Martin insist on using today, despite the fact that it is clearly not up to modern standards of emissions and efficiency.
