MY blog this week is on the absolutely stunning 2014 Aston Martin Rapide S, spotted in the back streets of Los Angeles. As you may or may not already know, the Rapide S is an updated version of the original Rapide, which first came to life in 2010. This particular Aston is equipped with a 6. 0-litre, 48-valve V12 engine sitting under that huge bonnet. This is a considerable increase in power considering the previous Rapide 'only' produced 350 kW. All this power gets transferred to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission with shifting paddles on the steering wheel for manual control. As I stated before, this Aston Martin Rapide S is the updated version of the old Rapide. Other features that are equipped on this particular Aston Martin include custom 20-inch alloy wheels wrapped in performance tyres, speed sensitive wipers, 4-wheel ABS as well as traction and stability control, xenon headlights, electronic brake...
