The big news is under the hood, where the Volkswagen Group’s mighty 6. 0-liter twin-turbo W12 gets both a 15-hp and 15-lb-ft torque boost (to 582 and 531, respectively) and also gets 5 percent better fuel economy, to 20 mpg combined. 0-liter twin-turbo V8’s power stays the same: 500 hp and 487 lb-ft, 521 hp and 502 lb-ft for the S. At 626 hp, the GT Speed’s W12 is still the Continental lineup’s top dog. The idea is to further emphasize Bentley’s power line flowing rearward from the front-fender arches. There are also new chrome fender badges on both the V8 S and W12 models to match those on the GT Speed. The V8 S has a new rear-diffuser design -- Bentley says it wants to further differentiate those more performance-focused models from the Continental family’s "lesser members. GT V8 and W12 models come standard with 20-inch tri-spoke wheels (painted on the V8 and bright machined for the W12).
