Preview: BMW at IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 - GTspirit
Prior to the IAA Frankfurt Motor Show 2015 opening its doors to the public on September 19, BMW has previewed its appearance at the show. At Frankfurt 2015, the eagerly awaited BMW M6 GT3 will celebrate its world debut. It will replace the current Z4 GT3 which BMW currently fields in the popular racing category. Beneath the skin, the BMW M6 GT3 will use a tweaked variant of the road car’s 4. 4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine. All told, the BMW M6 GT3 racer will tip the scales at less than 1300 kg. Also at Frankfurt 2015, the latest-generation 7-Series will be put on display. Other BMW cars heading to Frankfurt are the new X1, the facelifted 3-Series and the 2-Series Active Tourer.
