The SLR Budget Angle kit is 100% made in the USA and the highest quality kit available for your BMW. SLR kits have been used in FormulaDrift, BDC, Driftcup etc. We also build racing versions of our kits which have set a number of lap records in SCCA and NASA
SLR kit is completely legal for all drifting series' worldwide. In addition to huge steering angle, the Budget Angle kit also corrects roll-center and bump-steer which provides:
- Better front-end gripBetter steering feedback and feel
- Reduced body-roll (on the same sway-bars)
- More effective camber curve
- Less camber required to achieve cornering grip (due to the better camber curve)
- Faster, more stable drifting with less ackerman effect, (ackerman is actually adustable with 4 positions from race to drift: High/Medium/Low/Minimal)
Front roll-center correction on BMW's is key to good handling; when lowered the macpherson strut layout changes much more than the rear, so this is the first thing to address when focusing on good handling dynamics for you BMW.
