THE FLATS - Four Georgia Tech alumni have advanced to this week’s Deutsche Bank Championship, the second stage of the FedEx Cup Playoffs, with Bryce Molder making the most significant move with his performance last week at The Barclays. Molder tied for 11th place after posting a 7-under-par total of 273 at Plainfield Country Club, jumping from 92nd to 58th in FedEx Cup points. Cameron Tringale tied for 30th place with his 2-under-par 278, moving up to 51st in points. Also advancing were Matt Kuchar, who tied for 39th at The Barclays and is 27th in points, and Chesson Hadley , who missed the cut but remained in the top 100 at 97th.
