This is a fully functional and tested BMW MID unit. We replace the LCD ribbon with a new, high quality part to ensure there are no dead pixels (a common problem with these) and also replace all of the backlighting ensuring that there are no dim spots (another common issue in these). We then power it up to test all functions including every pixel, backlight and button.
