2015 BMW 5 Series gains new options packages; 550i variant discontinued - CarAdvice
BMW Australia has introduced two new options packages for the 2015 BMW 5 Series range. Available from March production, the new Professional and Exclusive packages bundle together a host of comfort and driver assist systems to enhance the BMW 5 Series sedan, Touring and Gran Turismo models. The packages will set customers back $900 to $3800 depending on the variant, though according to BMW they add between $5900 and $16,300 of value. The Professional pack is available on 520i and 528i sedans and all three body styles of the 520d, emphasising active safety and connected mobility. It adds a host of features including a lane change warning system, multifunctional instrument display, driving assistant suite with forward collision and pedestrian warning systems, and the ConnectedDrive Freedom infotainment system with... The Exclusive pack focuses on enhancing the luxury and refinement of the 530d Gran Turismo, 535d and ActiveHybrid 5 sedans, and all three body styles of the 535i.
