Tonight we're taking a closer look at that massive airbag recall that increased dramatically yesterday. That means one out of every seven cars may qualify to have airbags replaced. Dealers we spoke to say they've been busy replacing what they can based on that older recall. Lynwood Creel Duncan Service Manager We're still having to order the airbags, and have them come in and from what i understand, they're shipping them to us as quick as they come out. He says with a recall this big, it's more a matter of getting the replacements in anything else. Lynwood Creel-- Duncan Service Manager It's more of a matter of supply than actually doing the repair. The issue of supply will only get worse with this expanded recall, as more cars will qualify for new airbags. That's why dealers are urging customers to be patient with them as they continue to learn more from the manufacturers and Takata, especially since this recall doesn't present an immenint danger to drivers.
