A 35-year-old man was arrested after allegedly stealing more than $300 in merchandise from a store in the 900 block of Victoria Avenue. Police said the accused led from the store to avoid being caught, but he was located nearby and arrested. In a separate incident, a resident in the 600 block of Assiniboine Avenue reported that his truck was stolen over the weekend. Police describe the vehicle as a white 2005 Dodge Ram 1500.
