Sylvania, Ohio, man seriously injured in Ida crash - Monroe Evening News
IDA TOWNSHIP — A Sylvania, Ohio man suffered serious injuries in a two-car crash in Ida Township Wednesday. Foreman, 43, of Sylvania, Ohio was driving a silver 2009 Chevrolet HHR east on Rauch Rd. According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, Mr. Foreman failed to stop at a posted stop sign. At the intersection, the HHR collided with a blue 2009 Chevrolet pick-up truck driven by Brian S. Hosler, 55, of Dundee. Foreman sustained serious injuries and was taken by Monroe Community Ambulance to Toledo Hospital where he is listed in critical condition, a news release said. Hosler suffered minor injuries and was taken by MCA to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Ann Arbor where he is listed in stable condition. The crash remains under investigation by Deputies Jeremy Lestock and Randy Krupp of the sheriff’s uniformed services division, Deputies Tim George and Brian Francisco and Sgt.
