GM Now Recalls Chevrolet Aveo 2004 To 2008 Models - Air Herald
The recall train does not look like it is ever going to stop for General Motors. Close on the heels of General Motors recalling 2. 4 million vehicles of various models for various shortcomings, now the company has called back 218,000 Chevrolet Aveo cars that it had sold during the 2004 to 2008 period. The reason for the recall of so many Chevy Aveo cars is the possibility of the car to catch fire. The problem cited by General Motors for this huge recall of Aveo vehicle is something concerned with the daytime running module located in the instrument panel of the car. The Chevy Aveo owners will be notified by the company about this problem through mails very soon. This Chevrolet Aveo recalling has come just after a day of General Motors recalls 2. 6 million vehicles all across the globe. General Motors is going through a rough patch of recalls this year and it has so far recalled about 11. 8 million cars in the United States. This is a new record for recalls made by GM as the previous top recall of 10. 7 million cars came in 2004. Source: airherald.com
