General Motors Recalls 330000 2007-2008 Chevrolet Silverado, GMC Sierra Pickups - Auto World News
Company dealers are being told to repair all air bag inflators in affected vehicles, free of charge to the customers. No injuries or accidents have been linked to the latest recall. More than 100 injuries and six deaths have been linked to faulty Takata air bags overall in the last decade. GM has not set an official recall date yet though owners should receive their notices in the mail by sometime next month. About 330,198 GM vehicles are affected by this recall.
