A jury trial for a man charged with driving under the influence in a 2013 crash in Bradford County that killed a former Elmira couple is now scheduled to begin Oct. Bradford County District Attorney Dan Barrett, who will prosecute the case, said a key prosecution witness is out of the country during August and he asked that either a transcript of their earlier testimony be admitted for trial or that the case... Barrett said the defendant’s attorney objected to use of the prior testimony and Bradford County Judge Maureen Beirne opted to delay the case instead. Roegester Grays, 45, of Lawrenceville, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche around 5 p. m. , when he crossed the center line and collided with a Chevrolet Suburban driven by Ryan English, according to Pennsylvania state police. Grays has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of homicide by vehicle with DUI, two counts of aggravated assault by vehicle with DUI, two counts of homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a... Blood samples to determine Grays’ blood alcohol content were collected three hours after the crash, according to police.
