MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police hope a distinctive backpack will help lead to new tips in the shooting death of a teenager earlier this summer. 18-year-old Angelo Young was shot and killed near Garfield Avenue and Palmer Street around 11:40 p. m. on July 21st. Former classmates describe Young as a model student, always on time, volunteering to read, a young man headed for success. Now, police are sharing pictures of a backpack they say is similar to the one Young had the night of his murder. That backpack was believed to be a black, gray and silver Element Mohave backpack. FOX6 News asked Milwaukee police why, after more than a month, they were sharing the picture of the backpack. The suspect vehicle in this case is described as a dark-colored, 1997-1999 Chevrolet Suburban. Source: fox6now.com
