City man arrested on drug charges - FOX43.com

LANCASTER, Pa. – A traffic stop leads to the arrest of a Lancaster City man on drug charges. The arrest of Shawn Wesley, Jr. , 27, of the first block of South Ann Street, was the result of an investigation into neighborhood complaints of ongoing drug activity in the southeast section of the city. While conducting that investigation today, Selective Enforcement Unit officers James Boas and Jason Hagy observed a red Chrysler Sebring coupe being driven by Wesley. Both officers recognized Wesley and knew that his drivers license had been suspended for a previous DUI conviction. Wesley, who was the only occupant, was removed from the vehicle and when he stepped out police saw a clear plastic knotted bag of cocaine and a small bag of marijuana resting on the driver side seat. A further search of the car yielded an additional bag of cocaine and a marijuana cigarette in the center console and $1,651. 00 in cash spilling out from under the driver side seat. A total of 4. 46 grams of cocaine was seized with a street value of over $400. 00.
