The report says Stanley L. Blumenthal, 77, was driving northbound on U. S. 41 north of Olean Boulevard when for an unknown reason his 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck hit the rear of a 1999 Chevy Blazer driven by Kimberly M. Estrada, 20, of Port... Estrada brought her truck to a stop on the right shoulder. Blumenthal's vehicle continued north, swerving from the right lane to the center lane and back, where it collided with the rear of a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron driven by Frank J. Zalar, 59, of North Port, pushing it into the rear of a 2013 Dodge Ram... Both of those vehicles were brought to a controlled stop on the right shoulder, north of Elkcam Boulevard. Blumenthal's vehicle moved into the right-turn lane for Elkcam Boulevard, where it struck a 2003 Ford Windstar driven by Tina M. Ulchinsky, 18, of Punta Gorda, and spun it around. Blumenthal's truck struck a traffic sign, continued east on to the left shoulder of Elkcam, hit three construction barrels and ended up in a ditch on the east shoulder of Elkcam Boulevard.
